10 Gadgets Women Should Get in 2016
October 3rd, 2016 by admin
Are you a “gadget” girl? We are! Whenever a new gadget is announced in the news or in a tech blog, we take notice. We just can’t help ourselves – we love ourselves some nifty tech!
There have been a lot of standout gadgets this year, but here are ten of our favorites, in no particular order:
Smartwatches are the hip new thing, but not all of them are very pretty if you know what we mean. Most of them are rectangular and clunky. Not so for the Pebble Time Round Smartwatch.
This smartwatch has everything you could want from a smartwatch with the added benefit of glam. From its sleek round face to its delicate wristband, this smartwatch is great for work and for a night out on the town.
There are a lot of great e-readers out there, but this one is by far our favorite. It has a high-resolution display for “laser crisp” text, and the glare-proof screen makes it perfect for reading outdoors.
It’s slim, affordable, and gets the job done like no other e-reader we’ve tried. We especially love that it lights up so you can read in the dark. We love reading at bedtime!
If you have a problem with sleeping in, then Clocky may be just the alarm clock for you! When Clocky’s alarm goes off in the morning, he uses his wheels to jump off your nightstand and run away. Yeah, you read that right. If you want the loud beeping to stop, you have to physically get out of bed and catch him to turn him off.
FitBit has been around for a while now, but their new “Flex 2” model is thinner and sleeker than ever. With tons of color choices to choose from (we like the hot pink!), you can now be even more fashionable while you track your steps and your sleeping habits.
We weren’t sure if this counted as a “gadget,” but we wanted to include it anyway because it’s just so fab. This is perfect for you ladies who love fitness. Citizen Bike’s folding bikes make it easy to pack or carry a bike wherever you go. That’s right. The bike featured above folds up, very compactly, so that you can shove it in your car trunk or easily carry it with you. Pretty neat, huh?
Not all of us had the luxury to be born with perfect, flawless skin. And acne is definitely not just a thing teenagers get!
Using “therma pulse” technology, this device gently blasts acne-causing bacteria off of your face in a way that’s similar to the laser technology dermatologists use. It promises to clear up your skin four times faster than if you left it untreated.
We encourage adults to have adventures here at FabFitTravel. However, our kids like to have adventures too! And they should be allowed to…within reason.
Your child can wear this handy GPS tracker as either a bracelet, anklet, or necklace. It allows them to have the freedom to play outside on their own while giving you peace of mind by knowing where they are. It also works like a walkie-talkie so that you and your child can communicate with each other through the device at any time.
Are you constantly losing your keys? We sure are. That’s why we loved the idea of Microsoft’s Treasure Tag. Simply attach one of the tags to your keys and then sync it with your phone. If you lose your keys, you can “call” them with your phone and the tag will beep loudly until you find them.
This is also a great gadget to use in your luggage when you travel!
We love external phone chargers here at FabFitTravel. You never know when your cell phone might run out of juice while out traveling! And this purse – which has a phone charger inside it – really appealed to us. With designs by Kate Spade, it’s glamorous and functional.
We don’t always have time to learn the language of the lands we travel to. That’s why this scanner is so darn handy. Basically, you sync it up with your phone and then have at it! Scan over any written text with the device – like foreign restaurant menus – and the English translation will appear on your phone. It can even read 40 of the languages aloud to you if you prefer! It’s the perfect gadget for any woman who loves to travel.
Love our list, or do you think there’s something important that we missed? What gadgets have you loved in 2016?
