Yoga Bali | Why Yoga and Bali Go Hand-in-Hand

Yoga and Bali just seem to go together, don’t they?  Like chips and dip.  Or bikinis and summertime.  Or peanut butter and jeally.  As in, if you’re practicing yoga in Bali, you’re making all your insta followers jeally.

Bali is a top destination for many yogi’s and it’s not hard to understand why.  Bali offers an abundance of experiences, weather you’re an adventure junkie or just need some good ol’ R&R, it’s the perfect place to fall off the radar for a week.

Bali is Full of Culture

From the Sacred Holy Water Temples to the daily morning offerings you’ll see outside shops, homes, statues, and pretty much everywhere, Bali has a charm unlike any other place in the world. When you practice yoga in Bali, you become more aware of different cultural traditions which open your mind and your heart.

Bali is Full of Nature

Bali is known world-wide for its breathtaking views, ideal surfing conditions, and has become one of the top destinations in the world to practice yoga.  Even though it’s an island, it offers a mass selection of landscapes.  You have your choice of the iconic rice fields, jungle views, majestic waterfalls, volcanic mountains, or gorgeous beaches and coral reefs.

Bali is Full of Yoga

Okay, duh.  With so many wonderful places to practice yoga, it can be difficult to narrow down your must-sees.  You can practice in the jungle, or on the beach, or even with fireflies!  No matter what you choose, it’s guaranteed to be an experience you won’t soon forget.

Bali is Spiritual

Practicing yoga in Bali can open you up to new spiritual experiences and will deepen your yoga practice.  Bali is a multi-religious culture consisting of Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist minorities but Bali’s predominant religion is Hinduism.  Of course, you do not have to associate with these specific religions to appreciate a different culture.

Bali is Island of the Gods

Bali is often referred to as the Island of the Gods because of its magnificent mountains to rugged coastlines, volcanic hillsides and black sandy beaches.  The architecture is strongly rooted in the spiritual and religious foundation.  There are thousands of Hindu temples scattered around the island- some in plain sight and others hidden in little nooks and crannies.
